Arsenal face Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One clash on Tuesday barely three days after the Everton game. As usual the players were seen training in the London Colney facility.
It is believed that 13 youngsters were in the training and about 2 are expected to make their debut. The most likely are Kamara and Alex Iwobi.
The senior players seen in training today are Mathieu Flamini, Kieran Gibbs, Calum Chambers, Theo Walcott, PerMertesacker, Per Cech, Debuchy, and Joel Campbell.
Wenger has stated clearly that Petr Cech will play on the day and this makes him the only sure starter for the Sheffield game.
In the defence, Debuchy could partner with Julio Pleguezuelo in the heart of the defence while Chambers and Gibbs could play in the left-back and right-back respectively
In central midfield, Flamini could work with Kamara while Campbell and some other youngster, probably Iwobi play at the flanks.
Walcott is sure to get the nod ahead of Campbell who might come on as a substitute if he does not start on the flanks.
The striking position has more or less settled itself, as Giroud has once more snatched the much coveted position from Walcott. After series of goals from the bench, the Frenchman did open the scoring against Everton FC, which proves that he can score against any opposition.
