Arsenal have reportedly shifted their attention from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to another target, and this time, it seems this one is a lot more realistic.
The Mirror reports that Arsenal have turned their attention to Watford striker Odion Ighalo. It previously reported that the Gunners placed a £44million fee for Aubameyang which was rejected abruptly.
It is said that Dortmund are only willing to business for a fee around £60million and we all the manager will never pay that amount unless he is Lionel Messi.
But it appears that Wenger now considers Ighalo as the man for the job. The good thing is that 26-year-old could be bought for around £15million.
He has scored 14 goals in 20 league appearances, bullying the Premier League defenders as they come. He’s one of the major reason why Watford are sure of remaining in the EPL.
Strongly linked with Manchester United, Arsenal could yet snatch him from their grabs. However, they are to wait till the summer transfer window before they could convince the Hornets to let him leave.
