Arsenal may see a long time target finally join the club since turn of events suggest that the player’s time at his current club is over.

Isco has seen it all at Real Madrid. This time the Spanish press is calling for his head. Rafa Benitez has failed to play him in the last two games and that has not gone down well with Marca who label him as “non-existent” in the Madrid team.

Madrid are set to sell him to make way for new signings, according to the Metro and it seems that The Spanish giants could include him in the reported ‘list of players’ who set to be sold in the summer.

However, with the player now exempted from playing, a bid from Arsenal may see him finally join the club this January. Arsenal have been linked with the player for seasons now and they could get him if the reports are anything to go by.

Wenger is an ardent admirer of the player and was one of the managers jostling for his signature before he opted for Madrid two years ago. Considering the fact that he is no longer in Benitez’s plans and Arsenal reported strong interest in the player, he may be seen in the Arsenal colors this season.
He is valued at £36million but since he is considered a deadwood by his manager, Florentino Perez may sell him for half that amount.  Although some fans are of the opinion that he is not what we need at the moment. However, the chance of having the world-class player in the side is a risk worth taking – if at all it is.

Santi Cazorla is over 30 and an understudy is something the club should start taking seriously.
