The transfer scene yesterday was awash with rehashed stories of Alexandre Pato and Lars Bender. Surprisingly, both players are currently available for transfer. Pato has always wanted a move to the EPL but Bender, on the flip side, never was going to be released by Bayern Leverkusen but with him ousted by Kelvin Kampi in the heart of the midfield he could yet make a move elsewhere.
According to the Metro, Nigeria Under-17 starlet, Kelechi Nwakali is on the brink of joining the club after his agent revealed that they met with some of the club’s officials.
Via the Daily star, former Arsenal player –Edu Gaspar, who happens to be the Corinthians sporting director has revealed he held talks with some clubs’ representatives and mentioned Wenger towards the end of the statement.
“I talked and they asked questions – not just about him, but about a few of our players. They know them well. I had lunch with Arsene Wenger and he asked about [Pato] and about others.” He said via the Mirror.
And the Zlatan Ibrahimovich story is back. As per the Metro – I tried avoiding them- the player has refused to rule out the possibility of a move to the EPL and says there is probability of it happening before the Euro 2016.
‘I think there is a lot of talk from today until the European [Championships],’ he said when asked about the rumours linking him to Arsenal.
