Arsenal have been linked to Hakan Çalhanoğlu and previously was reported to consider signing the player in the summer transfer window.
However, according to latest reports, the Gunners may as well have their man if the report linking the player to the club has some truth in it.
Per the Daily express, Bayern Leverkusen CEO has stated that the club will not keep the player against his wish.
CEO Michael Schade told Bild: “We want to keep Hakan, but with us there is a pain threshold.”
On the Premier League interest, he added: “I see that and I am calm and relaxed.”
The 21-year-old is one of the influential players in the Leverkusen’s squad. He is quite versatile, as he can play anywhere in midfield – Center, Left, and Right- and sometimes features as a forward.
He is also adept at taking direct free kicks and would not hesitate to have a crack at goal when the opportunity calls for it. Considering his age, he is worth the trouble and would fit seamlessly at Arsenal since he loves the ball on the ground.
Chelsea are also reportedly interested to sign the player but with their recent form and encumbrances, they should be no threat if Arsene Wenger wants the player.
