Reports have it that Paris Saint Germaine striker, Edinson Cavani has agreed a deal, in principle, to join English Premier League. The player has always been touted to join the EPL in previous transfer window and now seem set to arrive next summer. However, to a rival club.
According to latest reports, the 28-years-old has agreed to join London rivals, Chelsea, in the summer transfer window.
The Blues have been undergoing a dismal start to the season where they had to make due with 1 win every month since the start of the season. At present, they lie 15th on the League table despite having 2 of the best forwards in Europe- Radamel Falcao and Diego Costa.
It is reported that the Chelsea management see Cavani as a solution to their scoring woes bewitching them and are going all out to grab the player.
Cavani has been a long-term target of the manager and there is no telling that the Arsenal faithful have been clamoring for the star for several seasons past now.
With this new move, the club will have to look elsewhere to bolster their striking department which has only Oliver Giroud and Theo Walcott firing on all cylinders, with the likes of Danny welbeck and Joel Campbell found wanting.
