Arsenal are now sure to announce the signing of Mohamed Elneny in coming days since his club have announced the signing of a replacement.
Via the club’s official twitter handle, Basel have announced the signing of Alexander Fransson from Swedish side IFK Norrköping. The 21-year-old midfielder apparently is the replacement for the Elneny who is on course to complete his move to Arsenal.
Arsenal have agreed a 5-year deal for Elneny, with a wage believe to be in the region 0f £65k-a-week -which is around £29million when summed together.
The work permit of the 23-year-old is proving to be the major setback in completing this move. However, Basel signing a new midfielder shows that they are confident of him joining the Gunners.

Having scored six goals for the Swiss club, it implies that he provides a scoring threat from the midfield. He will be willing to play from the bench pending when the likes of Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta exit the club.
Wenger has promised that he will be busy, as he looks for quality signings to help push for the League title.
