Wenger has confirmed that he has no say in the Mathieu Debuchy’s deal.

In his press conference held this morning, he revealed that it is up to the player to decide his next line of action once the transfer window opens.

Debuchy has not failed to make his intentions as regards the dearth of game time coming his way. Things got worse when his national team’s  manager Didier Deschamps said  that the chances of him being included in the France Euro ’16 squad was slim since he does not play week in week out for his club.

The 30-year-old earlier revealed  that he would discuss with the boss ahead of the January transfer window and it seems that has been done and over with.

Wenger was quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: “It’s not impossible [that he leaves]. I’m happy if he stays but we’ll see.”

The French international is speculated to be on the radar of Newcastle and Aston Villa. He is sure to get the much needed game time if he joins any of the aforementioned clubs.

He is quality but Steve Bould favours Hector Bellerin. Hopefully he will stay fit and not lose his spot again wherever he chooses to go.
