Arsenal scored three goals past a stubborn Swansea City who for most part of the first half tormented our defence. The likes of Jonjo shelvey and Gomis Bafetimbi took turns to ask Petr Cech some crucial questions.
Petr Cech can save your career; John Terry sure knows his stuff when he says that Cech in goal could get us 15 points extra. However, the spotlight before the game was on Joel Campbell and it would be fair if he gets a mention.
Before the game much was about the Swansea game being the real chance to revive his Arsenal career, with Arsene Wenger reportedly admitting it is “now or never” for the 23-year-old. He did carry on with his day’s job with much fanfare and aplomb, as he was seen shuttling down from attack to defence.
He finally got rewarded with a goal from an unreal pass via Mesut Ozil. Everyone is happy for him, I see it as a personal victory for the young lad- for a player who has been at the club for four years now, loaned to ‘all’ continents to get first team experience and has spent more time at the bench than on the pitch of play.
Below are reactions from fans on twitter, they all come to a point – they are happy for him
Joel Campbell impressed us today. Showed a lot of confidence which was missing on Tuesday. More of it, son, more of it. ??

Joel Campbell gets his first Arsenal goal. 3-0, game over. Özil assist, of course.

The fact Joel Campbell had that pacifier in his shorts the whole game I think is getting lost here

It took four years for Joel Campbell go start for @Arsenal and he scored on his first Start! #Worththewait

Sooo… Joel Campbell has played 1 Premier League game this season, and scored 1 already. Hazard hasn't scored after 10 PL games. Awkward…
