Transfer News Round Up – £30m Star On The Way To Emirates, £165,000-A-Week Could Join Too & More

Every day comes with its tale. While the Arsenal faithful were worried sick about Swansea City, the transfer rumors kept piling and it would be fair we do a roundup because we never can tell these days.

Via the Metro, Arsenal are put on alert as Samuel Umtiti has declared his intention to join the English Premier League someday and that statement seems to have attracted the top dogs, of which Arsenal are not exempted.

Elsewhere, Isco to Arsenal is still on and gathering momentum, as an Arsenal fan I wish Wenger would deem it fit to look his way. It is reported that he considers the option of leaving Madrid more seriously since he is  ”No longer guaranteed a starting place for Real”

The Mirror reports that Arsenal may have had the leeway in the chase for Zlatan Ibrahimovich, as Galatasaray are no longer interested in the 34-year-old whose contract expires in the summer.

On a lighter note, former England goalkeeper David James has revealed he told Arsene Wenger to sign goalkeeper Keylor Navas before he went to Real Madrid.

“Navas is awesome,” said James. “He has been for a few years now. I enquired a couple of years ago to Arsene Wenger, ‘Why don’t you go for Navas, £8million or £10million buy-out?’ He had (David) Ospina on his card, he went for Ospina, didn’t he?”
